A Quality Control Manager is responsible for supervising staff and maintaining quality control processes, analyzing the results, and giving feedback and guidance to the production team under direct supervision. Must ensure and assist in determining if materials, products, and/or processes are in accordance with specifications. Ensure the staff follows the set processes and adheres to the best production practices and product quality standards. The Quality Control Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of an organization's products, services, and processes. This position requires strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe working environment while abiding by Safety Policies.
- Attention to detail: Ability to identify even minor deviations from quality standards.
- Analytical skills: Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data interpretation to identify trends and root causes.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to quickly analyze issues and develop effective solutions.
- Leadership skills: Effectively manage and motivate a team of quality inspectors.
- Communication skills: Effectively communicate quality concerns to relevant stakeholders.
- Technical knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes, product specifications, and quality control methodologies.
- Maintain quality control policies and procedures.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the quality control program, including inspections.
- Collaborate with QMS Manager in developing and maintaining a system for monitoring and evaluating quality control data, and report findings to senior management.
- Identify and investigate quality control issues and recommend solutions to improve the quality of products, services, and processes.
- Work closely with the Engineering and Production teams to ensure that quality control considerations are integrated into the design, development, and production processes.
