Location: Santa Teresa, NM
Shift Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | Monday–Friday (Saturdays & OT as needed)
Pay Rate: $15.35/hour
Status: Temp to Hire
Testing & Interview Required

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. This role helps ensure our products meet the highest standards by conducting tests, inspections, and maintaining quality control documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle USDA & SSOP documentation
- Conduct tests on seasonings, batters, breading, and marinades
- Perform hourly checks: weights, metal detection, box weights
- Cook and test products for taste and appearance (organoleptic testing)
- Attend QA staff meetings and assist with training backup technicians
- Print labels and serve as backup for other QA Techs
- Maintain safety and quality standards throughout shift
Requirements:
- Must speak, read, and write English
- Basic math and calculator skills (percentages & averages)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs., stand, walk, crouch, and work in cold environments
- Knife handling required
- Must follow all quality and safety procedures
