Job Description: Packaging Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our team. The Packaging Operator will be responsible for operating plastic strapping machines and shrink guns to pack finished products accurately and efficiently. This role involves maintaining organization and cleanliness in the workspace, performing basic equipment maintenance, and adhering to safety and environmental regulations. Forklift operation is required for this position. Work location Santa Teresa

Key Responsibilities:

            •           Operate plastic strapping machines and shrink guns for packaging.

            •           Count, weigh, and inspect finished products to ensure correct type, quantity, and batch.

            •           Transport packaged products to the appropriate location for storage or dispatch.

            •           Supply the warehouse with necessary packaging materials.

            •           Calibrate and control the scales used in the packaging process.

            •           Maintain records of work completed and utilize relevant computer programs. Perform simple maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.

            Shift Details:

            •           Rotating shifts every four months.

            •           Initial shift: Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).

            •           Week 1: Four 12-hour shifts (48 hours). •            Week 2: Three 12-hour shifts (36 hour

            •           Day shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

            Pay: $16.25/hour

Requirements:

            •           Must be proficient in English.

            •           Experience operating a sit-down forklift is required.
