Referral Staffing Solutions is now hiring dedicated Carpenters to join one of our trusted client teams in the construction field. Compensation and Schedule:
Compensation: $21.20 to $29.68 per hour
Work Hours: Monday through Friday - mornings/afternoons/evenings
Employment Type: Temp-To-Hire through Referral Staffing Solutions
Travel: Occasional out-of-town travel may be required
Role Overview:
As a Carpenter, you'll play a key role in the construction, erection, and repair of wood and steel structures. This is an entry to mid-level position, ideal for someone more experienced than a laborer but not yet a lead. You’ll work with a crew on both indoor and outdoor building projects, applying your carpentry skills under the guidance of a supervisor. Whether you’re measuring and cutting materials or assembling structural components, you’ll bring craftsmanship and efficiency to every task.
Daily responsibilities include:
Arriving at the job site ready to work
Following verbal and written instructions
Applying learned techniques from past projects
Using power tools, hand tools, and reading basic blueprints
Climbing ladders, lifting up to 80 lbs, and working at heights up to 60 feet
Maintaining a safe and organized worksite
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We're seeking someone with strong initiative, adaptability, and a "can-do" attitude. Effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with others are a must. You should be physically capable of handling the demands of construction work and eager to grow your carpentry knowledge.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous construction experience preferred but not required
Comfortable using construction tools and reading basic blueprints
