We’re partnering with a client looking for a Vision Care Sales Specialist who thrives in a customer-focused environment. Location: La Crosse, WI
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Vision Care Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in helping customers find the perfect eyewear while ensuring prescriptions are accurately interpreted and fitted. Your responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting Prescriptions – Understanding prescriptions from optometrists and ensuring accuracy in lens measurements.
• Customer Assistance – Helping customers select frames, lenses, and coatings based on their needs and lifestyle.
• Precision Measurements – Taking pupillary distance and ensuring proper lens fitting for optimal vision.
• Frame Adjustments and Repairs – Adjusting frames for comfort and performing minor repairs like fixing screws and nose pads.
• Lens Fitting and Quality Control – Ensuring lenses meet prescription specifications and are defect-free.
• Customer Education – Teaching proper eyeglass and contact lens care.
• Record-Keeping – Maintaining customer prescription records and preferences.
• Customer Service – Providing friendly, professional service and resolving eyewear-related concerns.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Customer service experience is required.
• Skills and Traits: Reliable, coachable, and team-oriented with a patient-first mindset. Must be professional, self-motivated, flexible, and ethical.
• Tech Savvy: Basic office/clerical skills, data entry, and proficiency with a multi-line phone system.
