Referral Staffing Solutions is thrilled to partner with a leading restoration company in Sparta, WI. We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician ready to step into a dynamic role. Compensation and Schedule:
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour
- Work Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (end times may vary)
- On-Call Requirement: One week per month, after being hired on
- Employment Type: Temp-To-Hire
Role Overview:
As a Production Technician, you’ll start your day with a team meeting and then prepare your supplies and equipment. You’ll load them into the client’s vehicle and head to various job sites, which could range from commercial to residential locations. Each day offers a new challenge, often involving restoration work after fire, water, or mold damage.
In this role, you will:
- Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment and supplies for each project.
- Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and equipment.
- Set up staging areas at the job site.
- Follow company guidelines for production processes and cleanup tasks.
- Communicate effectively with the crew chief and team members.
- Ensure safety protocols and risk management guidelines are followed.
A valid Drivers license
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We’re looking for someone with:
- Effective communication skills for clear interactions with the team and customers.
- Experience in cleaning/restoration (preferred).
- A high school diploma or GED.
- IICRC certifications (preferred, but not required).
- The ability to travel locally and occasionally out of state.
- The physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
You should be comfortable with:
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and spending extended periods walking, standing, and climbing.
- Working in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces) and at ceiling heights.
- Repetitive tasks like pushing, pulling, and carrying objects.
