Washington DC Area Brand Ambassadors Needed ASAP

We are looking for talent in the Washington DC area to help execute a cutting edge promotional event!! The event details are as follows:

Event Location:
Washington, DC

ESTIMATED Dates*:
6/12 5pm-6pm Phone Training (Mandatory)
6/16 2pm-4pm* On-site Training
6/15 8am-4pm* 6/16 8am-12pm* Set Up
6/17 9am-3pm* Activation
6/17 4pm-12am* Load-Out
*Dates & Times are tentative and subject to change.

Set Up & Break Down Staff Requirements :

• Must be able to lift 75+lbs.
• Must be able to work 10+ hours
• Must have basic tool knowledge
• Previous experience in technology and production a plus

Set Up & Break Down Duties (include but are not limited to the following) :

• Load and unload program elements
  
• Assist tour managers in setting up various program elements including staging, sound equipment and heavy metal structures
  
• Clean/polish the program elements
  
• Follow leadership of full time tour managers
  

Event Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Arrive on-time (15 minutes early before scheduled start time)
• Retain brand knowledge and communicate key message points for each footprint element including team and sponsor information
• Make experience fun for consumers and encourage them to participate in several activities on-site
• Attract, interact and encourage consumers to participate in on-court games and contests
• Assist with the traffic flow of consumers throughout the event footprint by directing consumers to the next program element
• Utilize handheld tablets to collect data
• Distribute premiums and maintain an accurate inventory
• Collect information from consumers and keep track of requested metrics for recapping purposes
• Assist with set-up, maintenance and breakdown of the footprint (See criteria listed in the Set-up/Breakdown section above)
• Maintain the cleanliness of the footprint
• Maintain the cleanliness of the event area
• Communicate with the identified Tour Manager (check-in and check-out)

Event Activation Required Skills:

• Must be outgoing, approachable, professional, reliable, well-spoken and motivated
• Must be comfortable talking to consumers, speaking in front of crowds, and interacting with clients
• Must proactively approach/engage consumers
• Must have previous promotional experience
• Be on your feet for 12+ hours
• Maintain high level of energy throughout entire day
• Voice must project well
• Must be very articulate
• Prior knowledge of basketball and/or sports a plus

Attire:

• No visible piercings or tattoos
• Black or Khaki Bermuda shorts (Capri pants are allowed for female Brand Ambassadors)– no short shorts, cargo pants, or jeans
  
• Tennis shoes
  
• Maintain good personal hygiene and clean uniform attire throughout the event activation
  
• Shirt will be provided at the footprint
  

Pay scale:
$18 Per hour
