In this position, you will take the lead in developing and implementing safety programs designed to protect employees and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You’ll partner with managers, supervisors, and employees to address workplace safety concerns, conduct training, and implement preventative measures to mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain occupational health and safety programs to reduce or eliminate workplace hazards.

Collaborate with supervisors and employees to resolve safety issues and improve workplace practices.

Conduct employee training sessions covering hazard recognition, medical surveillance, protective equipment, and preventative strategies.

Monitor workplace environments and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Provide expert recommendations to leadership regarding safety practices and risk reduction.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required).

Valid driver’s license (required).

At least 4 years of professional-level experience in industrial hygiene, occupational health, or workplace safety.

Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation preferred; candidates must obtain certification through the Board for Global EHS Credentialing during the probationary period if not already certified.
