A reputable law firm in downtown New Orleans is seeking a dedicated Office Services Specialist. This role is pivotal in ensuring a pristine, well-stocked, and organized environment that supports their legal and administrative teams. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, adaptable, and ready to provide essential support in maintaining key office areas, acting as a backup receptionist, and assisting with mailroom and other office operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Facility Maintenance: Oversee the cleanliness and organization of kitchens, coffee areas, employee lounges, conference rooms, and client spaces.

Reception Support: Serve as a backup receptionist by greeting guests, answering phones, scheduling meeting spaces, and coordinating audio/video conferences.

Mailroom Assistance: Provide support in handling and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.

Supply & Inventory Management: Monitor, order, and restock supplies in designated areas including kitchens, restrooms, and conference rooms.

Additional Duties: Assist with other office services projects and tasks as assigned by the Office Services Manager.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; prior client service or receptionist experience in a professional or high-end hospitality environment is preferred.

Strong typing skills and computer literacy (proficiency in Microsoft Outlook is essential).

Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

A professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, including standing and walking for extended periods and lifting up to 35 pounds.
