Customs Broker

We are searching for licensed customs broker to work with a very stable and busy client in the Freight Forwarding business.

Pay for this position with be $65,000-$75,000 BOE.

Befits will be offered and the medical premium is paid at 100% for the employee. PTO and Holiday pay. M-F/8-4:30pm.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Manage and oversee all aspects of the brokerage process, including negotiating contracts, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, and suppliers to ensure efficient and effective transportation services.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain operations and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and analyze reports on key performance indicators, such as freight costs, delivery times, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including OSHA and FDA regulations.
- Implement and maintain systems for tracking shipments, managing inventory, and monitoring transportation activities.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on logistics processes, compliance management, and report writing.

Required:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• 3+ years experience as a customs broker

• Must be licensed*****
