Our client, a reputable law firm with offices in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, seeks a Transactional Legal Assistant to join their Baton Rouge team. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines. This full-time role requires a team-oriented individual dedicated to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and format transactional documents with accuracy and attention to detail.

Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely completion under strict deadlines.

Provide general administrative support, including proofreading, filing, and handling correspondence.

Utilize Microsoft Word for document preparation; knowledge of WordPerfect is a plus.

Maintain effective communication with attorneys and team members to facilitate seamless project workflow.
Required:

High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word; familiarity with WordPerfect is advantageous.
