Receptionist/Publications Clerk – Elections Department Support
A well-established law firm is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Receptionist/Publications Clerk to manage front-desk operations and provide critical support to the firm’s Elections Department. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys client interaction, thrives on variety, and can accurately handle numerical election data.
Responsibilities:

Front-Desk Reception: Greet guests, answer and route calls with a clear, professional voice, and manage incoming mail and deliveries.

Elections Publications: Prepare, distribute, and file legally required election notices (polling-place locations, vote totals, hearing announcements) in print and online; track publication affidavits and ensure timely renewals.

Data Accuracy: Record vote counts and polling data meticulously; relay messages with correct caller names, numbers, and details when attorneys or staff are unavailable.

Office Services: Maintain subscription records and physical stocks of firm publications; set up conference rooms, assist with admin projects, and support attorneys with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework in office administration or related fields a plus.

1–2 years of receptionist or client-service experience, ideally in a professional or hospitality environment.

Strong numerical aptitude and unwavering attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; clear phone presence.
