Responsible for scheduling and evaluating staff.
Planning daily housekeeping schedule and assigns duties.
Developing and implementing a standard of excellence that staff is completely trained to perform and expected to follow.
Organizing and set up deep cleaning projects.
Identifying and reporting maintenance related problems.
Monitoring guest complaints and taking corrective action.
Maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and orderliness of entire hotel.
Tracking operating costs in an ongoing effort to keep department within budget.
Maintaining inventory of supplies and linens.
Effectively handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems.
Recognize and correct conditions which may create security, fire, or accident hazards.
Assisting in housekeeping duties when necessary.
Managing detailed inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
Maintaining a positive, calming, and cooperative work environment.
Adhering to hotel's dress policies, expectations, and events.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
Must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
