CURT- AcworthCurt distributes trailer hitches and other towing accessories. The hitches are heavy so we normally only send heavy lifters. If there is a light lifter that has years of experience, we'll still set them up to interview and let the client decide. They sometimes have general labor/packer positions that doesn't require any specific skill or experience. 90% of the opportunities are going to be for EXPERIENCED CHERRY PICKERS. They must have at minimum 2 years' experience but we prefer more. Cherry pickers are similar to reach lift/trucks. They are not a point where they can train on the cherry picker and it's not the same as a regular forklift. Cherry Pickers will take them up into the air with a harness attachment so anyone we send can't be afraid of heights. They will be pulling the hitches and accessories from the racks. These are all temp to hire. They must be open to cross-training as they may not always be pulling orders. Romondo is GREAT about hiring people on as soon as they hit their hours but on the other hand, his biggest pet peeve is poor attendance/being late.1st shift is 8am-5pm Monday – Friday, starting at $17.00 2nd shift is 12pm-8:30pm Monday – Friday, starting at $17.50 Need to have a semi-clean background as CURT will run their background when hired on. Basic warehouse attire but must have steel toe boots. Needs to be available for overtime Cherry pickers must interview with Romondo (and Terry) prior to starting. We schedule a time and date for the interview and submit their resume when we notify them of the interview. They do not have to see the resume first and it doesn't have the be the best-looking resume. Romondo just likes to review it while he interviews. He may be open to re-hires BUT it depends on the person and why they left Romondo is head huncho. Terry and Francisco should also be included on emails we send over.
