Administrative Assistant/Payroll

Our client, a local non-profit organization, is seeking an experienced and proactive Administrative Assistant with a solid background in payroll to support day-to-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize employee personnel files as part of an ongoing filing project.

  • Assist with employment verifications, timecards, payroll processing, and scheduling interviews.

  • Maintain and update various spreadsheets related to payroll, timekeeping, and employee data.

  • Provide administrative support in accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) when needed.

  • Support the HR and payroll teams with other tasks as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administrative assistance, with a focus on payroll.

  • Experience with TriNet HR/Payroll platform is preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and spreadsheets.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


Monday - Friday

Pay = $24-26/hr (DOE)
