Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician for a company located in Austell!

Qualifications for Maintenance Technicians:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Must have 2+ years of experience in building maintenance or industrial facility maintenance.

• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.

• Proficiency using hand and power tools, maintenance equipment, and basic computer systems.

• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in physically demanding environments.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Maintenance Technicians:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility structures, equipment, and systems including restrooms, lighting, plumbing, assembly line tables, and packaging machinery.

• Replace or repair broken, damaged, or worn parts on conveyor belts, work stations, and assembly lines to minimize downtime.

• Conduct preventative maintenance checks and report any issues or safety concerns.

• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area ensuring tools and parts are stored properly.

• Assist with basic HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs as needed.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational efficiency and minimal disruption to productions.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and time spend on tasks.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday – 8:00AM-5:00PM

Pay Rate: $17.00-18.00/hour depending on experience
