Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire an Auto Mechanic Apprentice for a company located in Taylorsville!

Qualifications for Auto Mechanic Apprentice:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Eager and driven.

• Has an interest in automobiles.

• Has vehicle mechanic experience.

• Experience with tire rotations, oil changes, and break checks.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Auto Mechanic Apprentice:

• Assisting in the diagnosing of mechanical issues in various types of vehicles or machinery.

• Perform onsite fleet maintenance.

• Helping with repairs and maintenance tasks under the supervision of experienced mechanics.

• Learning to use various tools and equipment to perform repairs.

• Completing maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.

• Observing safety procedures and guidelines at all times to prevent injuries or accidents.

• Participating in training and educational opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.

• Assisting in ordering and organization of parts and supplies.

• Keeping the workshop clean and tidy.

• Communication with customers under supervision to explain repairs and maintenance work.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday – 6:00AM-5:00PM

Pay Rate: $15.00-20.00/hour depending on experience
