Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Shipping Clerks for a company located in Woodstock!

Qualifications for Shipping Clerks:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in using customer portals and shipping software.

• Experience with EnterpriseIQ from Delmia Works is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.

• Basic knowledge of freight carriers and shipping procedures is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Shipping Clerks:

• Prepare and process shipping documents including packing slips and bills of lading.

• Communicate with truck lines to schedule pickups and ensure on-time delivery.

• Coordinate shipment routing details with customers via phone, emails, and customer portals.

• Use customer portals to generate bills of lading and submit necessary shipping information.

• Send advance shipping notices to customers as required.

• Work closely with customer service and shipping departments to ensure smooth shipping operations.

• Maintain accurate shipping records and resolve any shipping related discrepancies.

• Assist with other administrative duties as needed within the department.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday – 8:30AM-4:30PM

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
