Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for a warehouse located in Fairmount!

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a battery sorting and warehousing facility, ensuring efficient and safe handling, sorting, and processing of batteries as well as overseeing efficient and effective warehouse operations. This role involves managing staff, optimizing workflows, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. This supervisor role is responsible for maintaining inventory counts and quality control for incoming and outgoing product shipments. Duties include but are not limited to unloading delivery trucks and checking incoming shipments against product invoices or packing slips, organizing outbound shipments with correct outbound paperwork (BOL) and labels so shipments accurately sent to the correct destinations. The supervisor will also manage goods and inventory within the warehouse and the replenishment of product to picking locations.

Education Requirement for Warehouse Operations Supervisors:

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.

Qualifications for Warehouse Operators Supervisors:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment; preferably in fulfillment or recycling.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Proficiency in inventory management software.

Understanding of safety and environment regulations.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.

Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Warehouse Operators Supervisors:

Oversee the sorting, handling, and processing of batteries, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Manage inventory levels, track incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensure accurate record keeping.

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.

Ensure all orders and fulfilled accurately and on time.

Lead, train, and manage a team of warehouse employees, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Monitor the quality of sorted batteries and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

Prepare and submit regular reports on facility operations, including productivity, safety incidents, and inventory levels.

Ensure all sorting equipment is properly maintained and operations.

Stay updated on relevant environmental and safety regulations and ensure the facility complies with all legal requirements.

Performs other duties as assigned by management.
