Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Packers for a warehouse located in Lawrenceville!

Qualifications for Cherry Picker/Reach Truck Operators:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Ability to perform but not limited to the following tasks; be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips, enter into computer the correct information, and to acknowledge receipt of the goods into the database.

• Must be familiar with proper packaging methods.

• Forklift certification is required.

• High school diploma or GED.

• 2 or more years of related experience working in a similar industry.

• Read, write, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Cherry Picker/Reach Truck Operators:

• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, identifies damaged items, check shortages, and corresponds with warehouse manager to rectify damages and shortages.

• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, banding, labeling).

• Sort and place product in proper rack locations.

• Accurate pulling/packing orders for shipping.

• Assist in counting physical inventory.

• Operate warehouse equipment, including a forklift, picker and reach truck.

• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for all associates.

• May sweep the warehouse area.

• Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday – 7:00AM-4:00PM

Pay Rate: $16.00-17.50/hour
