Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Floor Operators for a warehouse located in Woodstock! This company specializes in cutting and stripping wire and harnesses for elevators and ATM machines.

Qualifications for Floor Operators:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Have a basic understanding of math skills and knowledge of how to read and interpret a ruler to maintain length tolerances.

• High attention to detail to ensure quality during the production process.

• Ability to identify, track, and meet all production standards and goals.

• Maintain good communication with Area Leads.

• Work well with a team environment.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Floor Operators:

• Cutting contractor grade wire and conduit to length and coiling wire or conduit.

• Bagging, boxing, taping, labeling, and placing on pallets.

• Follow safety procedures for machine set up and maintenance.

• Constantly inspect product for quality issues.

• Complete orders to customer specification.

• Learning new skills in the assembly process.

• Testing finished product.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday – 7:15AM-4:30PM

Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
