Position Type: Temp to Hire

Pay: $17.10-18.10/hour

Shift: 1^st, 2^nd, and Weekend Shift

Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Forklift Operators for a food distribution warehouse located in Lithia Springs! The warehouse is temperature controlled due to the product in warehouse.

Qualifications for Forklift Operators:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Forklift experience is not required as the client is willing to train.

• Must be willing to stand for 12+ hours.

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

• Ability to understand written and oral instructions.

• Basic knowledge of safety equipment and safety procedures.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Forklift Operators:

• Operating a stand up forklift or reach lift.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow quality procedures and recognize quality issues.

• Perform loading, unloading, and picking.

• Inspect each pallet and or case for proper quantities, item brands, and lot codes damages and follow any special instructions on documentation.

• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift Details:

• 1^st: Tuesday-Friday – 7:00AM-Finish (Occasional Mandatory Saturdays)

• 2^nd: Monday-Friday - 6:00PM-Finish (Occasional Mandatory Saturdays and voluntary Sundays)

• Weekend: Monday, Friday, and Saturday – 6:00-6:30PM (Occasional Mandatory Saturdays)

Pay Rate: $17.10-18.10/hour depending on shift
