Marine Construction Carpenter Monday - Friday 6:45am-3:15pm Pay is $27hr with a $1/hr raise after 90 days We are looking for an experienced Construction Crew Leader/Foreman with a background in Marine Construction. The Crew Leader/Foreman will be responsible for project layout, accurate piling installation, framing, and decking. Must be capable of managing a crew of three to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects, on time, within budget, while maintaining quality in the field. You will work with senior management. Responsibilities: · Providing leadership for multiple aspects of controls including costs, planning, scheduling, supervision, and management of personnel. · Manage projects from estimation to completion and work directly with management. · Meet with regulatory authorities and parties as needed · Review drawings, ensure accurate document preparation · Ensures construction site rules and procedures are implemented and followed · Coordinate with Safety Manager to ensure projects are completed in accordance with safety goals · Determine and define project scope and objectives. · Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner · Accurate forecasting of costs for job completion · Provide leadership and development to project team · Ability to interact professionally and communicate with employees with expectations and direction regarding schedules, construction methods, company policies and procedures, permits, safety, quality control and other performance standards. · Understand project specifications, and the scope of work and see that they are fully performed in the field. Qualifications: · Minimum of 2 years of managing marine or an equivalent · Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving with an acceptable driving record · Strong organizational and leader skills · Industry knowledge · Detail-oriented and effective communication skills · Excellent communication skills · Proven ability to work collaboratively internally and with outside consultants or clients We are a family-owned business with a strong emphasis on developing our team through proper training and superior leadership.
