Short Arc Welder

A Short-Arc Welder welds together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions.

The requirements for the position are as follows:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years Short-Arc (GMAW) welding experience; and

• Must successfully demonstrate the ability to pass a hands-on 3G/4G Short-Arc (GMAW) welding test with the 3G position welded with downhill progression and 4G welded entirely in the overhead position.
