Part time Janitors needed for early morning shifts, 20 hours per week in Grants Pass.
Responsibilities:
- The Janitor and Maintenance Assistants provide routine cleaning and light maintenance at facilities owned and/or managed by the agency.
- Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition.
- May include minor landscaping.
- Perform heavy cleaning, such as cleaning floors, shampooing carpet, washing walls and glass, and removing trash.
- Clean and stock restrooms.
- Perform routine maintenance (changing light bulbs, air filters, etc.)
- Assist team members with transporting vehicles for repair and maintenance.
- Monitor safety and security of assigned facilities.
- Comply with safety regulations.
- Read, track, and complete repair work orders.
- Safely maneuver heavy objects, including furniture and appliances.
The Janitor and Maintenance Assistant must be able to:
- Follow and carry out verbal and written instructions.
- Able to work independently and flexibly, under general supervision.
- Handle shifting priorities and frequent distractions.
- Pass drug screen, state-required background and DMV checks, possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Monday -Friday, 4am-8am
