As they continue to expand their operations, we partner with them seeking skilled and dedicated Wood Products Manufacturing Workers to join their team.


Job Overview: As a Wood Products Manufacturing Worker, you will be an essential part of the production process, responsible for operating machinery, assembling wood components, and ensuring the efficient manufacturing of wood products. Your attention to detail, precision in measurements, and ability to follow safety and quality standards will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.


Responsibilities:

Machine Operation: Operate various woodworking machinery, including saws, routers, planers, and sanders, to cut, shape, and finish wood materials.

Assembly: Assemble wood components to create finished products, such as furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, or other wood-based items.

Quality Control: Inspect wood materials and finished products for defects, ensuring that they meet the company's quality standards.

Measurement and Cutting: Accurately measure and cut wood materials according to specifications and production orders. 

Material Handling: Transport raw materials and finished products within the manufacturing area using appropriate equipment and following safety guidelines.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling wood materials.

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of materials used and finished products produced, assisting in inventory control.

Maintain Machinery: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure their optimal functioning.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth production flow and meet production targets.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in wood products manufacturing or woodworking is helpful.
  • Familiarity with woodworking machinery and tools beneficial.
  • Knowledge of wood properties and different types of wood materials used in manufacturing helpful.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy wood components.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and assembly work.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Demands: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; bend use hand to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch and talk and hear.


Days: $15.25/hour

Swing: $15.40/hour
