Personnel Source is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Staffing Coordinator / Front Desk in Eugene, OR.


As the first point of contact the selected candidate will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and employees. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to various departments, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, exceptional multitasking abilities, and a strong attention to detail.


This position will help the recruiters review resumes, screen candidates based on client's requirements and assist in placement of candidates.


Experience and requirements of Receptionist/Administrative Assistant:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment, such as multi-line phone systems, fax machines, printers, and photocopiers.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and visitors.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities of Receptionist/Administrative Assistant:

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner, creating a positive first impression.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, ensuring accurate message taking and prompt delivery to the appropriate person.
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, employees, and the general public via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate and helpful information.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects a professional image at all times.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries, distributing them to the appropriate recipients.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, scanning, and photocopying, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle it with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
  • Act as a liaison between employees, clients, and other stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and resolving queries or issues when possible.
  • Support other team members and departments as needed, demonstrating a willingness to assist and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
