Responsibilities
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform tasks
- Build and fabricate metal components using various welding techniques such as stick welding
- Inspect and test welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
- Conduct repairs as needed
Experience
- Proven experience as a welder in a construction or manufacturing environment
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Mechanical knowledge to understand specifications
