CAD Drafter/CAM Programmer

Personnel Source is accepting resumes for a qualified CAD drafter/ CAM programmer to produce shop fabrication drawings for Portland area custom fixtures/cabinets, millwork, retail architectural casework and ornamental metal utilizing AutoCAD and Mastercam software programs.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with AutoCAD software.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with Mastercam software writing code for CNC machinery.
• Ability to work from Architectural and ID blueprints or renderings to envision and generate accurate buildable shop fabrication drawings.
• Able to utilize software shortcut features and efficiencies.
• Knowledge of architectural woodworking/architectural detailing.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced high production environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as communicate with team effectively.
• Proficient with Microsoft office.

Other skills/experience desired but not essential:

Cabinet making shop experience helpful! 

Starting Wage Range:   $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
