Position Summary:
Coater Operator II
The person filling this role reports to the Sensitizing Supervisor and will perform a variety of tasks including material handling, film inspection and packaging material for shipment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Complete training on time, comply with all safety and regulatory policies.
- Manufacture diagnostic medical films.
- Statistical Process Control
- Product sampling, testing, and packing procedures.
- PIT & PPE certification
- Quality Management System.
Required Skills & Education:
- Ability to use time effectively and maintain workflow during 12-hour shift on shop floor. Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively for short durations.
- Minimum of six months’ experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience following standard work directions, and change documentation, written in English, to assemble components, or follow a sequence of operations.
- Must pass Power Industrial Truck written test and Driving test for each type of PIT and perform general warehouse duties.
- Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills to function in team communication and decision processes.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Power Industrial Trucks to move materials in manufacturing environment.
- Able to troubleshoot production issues in a complex and fast paced environment.
- Experience with automated production reporting systems.
