Personnel Source is looking for a Temporary Event Assistant for the Conference Services Department at UofO!


This position is temporary. The selected candidate is encouraged to apply directly for open positions with the university if interested in going through their application process for a permanent role.


This position is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. $19.25/hr. The duration is unknown at this time.


The Event Assistant role supports the Conference Services exhibits team by providing customer service to exhibitors via phone and email, and administrative assistance for exhibits managers. Administrative tasks will be varied based on event cycles, and will include placing exhibitors on the tradeshow floorplan, creating and sending logistics emails, collaborating on event documents and websites, tracking the fulfillment of advertising purchases and providing data monitoring and support.


Candidates with previous call center experience are encouraged to apply. 

Candidates need to have great computer experience, specifically in MS Office and typing/10-key.
