Production Operator

Personnel Source is currently seeking experienced Production Machine Operates for a local food manufacturing plant in Eugene, OR.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate production line equipment, including mixers, scales, label printers, ovens, cooling tunnels, and packaging machinery.
• Measure and prepare food ingredients accurately following recipes.
• Set up packaging materials according to customer specifications.
• Sanitize production equipment, parts, and the surrounding area.
• Record documentation to ensure compliance with quality specifications and procedures.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and GMP requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Self-directed and a positive team player.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing) for job requirements.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Forklift experience considered an asset.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
• Lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs.
• Push/pull over 1,000 lbs. with a pallet jack.
• Bend, stoop, twist, and use arms, wrists, and hands continuously.
• Occasionally kneel, reach above shoulder height, work at heights, and climb steps while handling 25 to 50 lbs.
