We are recruiting an Indirect Loan Processor to join a leading financial organization at their corporate office in Sacramento. The Indirect Loan Processor is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and disbursing loan applications to maintain quality of program, ensure accuracy of loan information, and provide member and dealership satisfaction.  Pay: $22


The ideal candidate will have previous banking experience, the ability to multitask with accuracy in a fast paced environment and will have worked in a prior lending position performing contract review.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and audit paperwork. Research and identify missing information and communicate discrepancies.
  • Perform verifications on application data to ensure accuracy prior to funding.
  • Determine whether loan warrants disbursal.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union.
  • Ability to identify red flags in loan documentation in order to avoid potential fraud.
  • Compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position.
  • Fund appropriate monies to dealerships with the appropriate administrative fee.
  • Assist department staff with gathering information and preparation of reports.
  • Communicate and interact with department management and staff to provide information on loan status.
  • Help in other areas within Lending as assigned.

     

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of one year in a lending position performing contract review or similar is preferred.
  • Open to candidates with call center or retail, with experience handling high call volumes, familiarity with contact center and consumer loan environments (beyond mortgage lending), strong multitasking abilities, and solid computer proficiency.
  • Strong clerical support skills.
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of credit reporting equipment, electronic banking equipment, ten key, facsimile machine, and personal computer filing.
