We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist on behalf of our client to support regional HR operations. This role is responsible for executing a variety of human resources programs and policies, often involving complex and confidential matters. The HR Generalist partners with leadership to address employee relations and performance concerns, offering guidance and support to foster resolution. The position plays a key role in promoting a positive workplace culture through clear communication and consistent application of company policies, values, and benefits

Salary: $85,000 – $98,000 annually (DOE), plus benefits.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports creation and implementation of HR policies and programs aligned with company goals; ensures compliance with internal policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assists with employee relations, advises leadership, monitors corrective actions, and supports investigations to promote a positive work environment and high morale.
  • Oversees performance reviews, merit planning, job descriptions, and personnel records; ensures retention compliance and accurate HRIS data tracking.
  • Manages full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and temporary staffing; maintains ATS and partners with leadership to define role requirements.
  • Conducts new hire orientation, supports training initiatives, and communicates HR policy updates to staff and leadership.
  • Administers employee leaves (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, etc.), conducts I-9 audits, prepares compliance reports, and monitors legal developments to ensure policy adherence.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of three years in Human Resources with demonstrated expertise in HR principles, practices, and administration.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal laws governing HR functions and compliance.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between sites or attend off-site meetings as needed.
