We are recruiting on behalf of our client—a fast-growing company with annual revenues exceeding $1 billion/year—for a Tax Manager role based in the Greater Dallas area.

Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, this position will oversee all aspects of U.S. corporate tax compliance for the company and its affiliated entities. Salary : $125K-$145K DOE plus bonus.  100% onsite with flexibility for Hybrid.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support U.S. tax matters through data gathering, research, and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax filing requirements.
  • Oversee sales, use, excise, and utility tax compliance, including preparation of returns and administration of exemption certification programs.
  • Assist in preparing business personal and real property tax returns, as well as federal, state, and local income/franchise tax filings.
  • Manage business and franchise licenses, including applications and renewals, and review tax depreciation schedules for fixed assets.
  • Stay current on tax laws and regulations, identify business impacts, and communicate relevant updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Support tax audits and assist with Form 5500 filings for 401(k) and medical plans, along with other government surveys and special projects.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 4 years of U.S. tax experience in financial reporting, compliance, audit, or planning; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA or MST preferred.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to manage and analyze financial data efficiently.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information securely and maintain confidentiality; industry experience is a plus but not required.
