We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our client, a leading company in the manufacturing industry located in the greater Sacramento area. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoices and financial payments with accuracy and efficiency. This role requires exceptional multitasking ability and adaptability, as responsibilities can shift frequently—even within the same day. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage a broad range of tasks simultaneously.

Pay : $25.00 Per Hour


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Vendor Transactions: Process invoices and credit memos, approve and onboard new vendors, and ensure timely payments and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Post AP batches, file documentation, and prepare/mail required tax forms while supporting weekly/monthly reporting needs.
  • Communication & Coordination: Respond to phone and email inquiries and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve company objectives.
  • Administrative Support: Handle general office tasks including filing and reporting to ensure operational efficiency


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Accounts Payable Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience including check processing, with familiarity in Microsoft Dynamics and standard accounting procedures.
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email) and capable of operating office equipment such as fax, scanner, and 10-key.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written skills; able to create clear reports, communicate across levels, and contribute in team-oriented environments.
  • Organizational & Multitasking Skills: Self-starter with proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and navigate fast-paced settings with frequent interruptions.
