We are seeking a Digital Marketing Content Writer on behalf of our client—a highly regarded financial institution in the Sacramento region. This role calls for a skilled communicator with a talent for crafting clear, compelling, and results-driven copy across digital platforms.
The ideal candidate will develop website content, marketing campaign messaging, and other digital and direct communication assets. Responsibilities include—but are not limited to—writing for web pages, email marketing, advertising collateral, and other strategic communications initiatives.
Pay Rate: $38.00/Hour
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate across departments to develop engaging, Search Engine Optimized (SEO) optimized content for web, campaigns, blogs, and FAQs that align with the client’s brand voice and value propositions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and all levels of management to gather insights, uphold messaging integrity, and ensure timely revisions.
- Support and manage cross-functional strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring projects remain on track and aligned with business goals.
- Maintain updated style guides and ensure all copy complies with banking and advertising regulations while monitoring competitors and industry trends.
- Develop deep knowledge of current and future offerings to craft innovative messaging and support evolving marketing strategies.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field preferred. Requires 5+ years of experience in digital and print copywriting, with a preference for leadership or project management in a creative or agency environment. Financial and SEO writing experience is essential.
- Proven track record in strategic SEO implementation with measurable results. Skilled in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat, with strong analytical thinking and general marketing knowledge.
- Capable of writing for diverse audiences within brand guidelines, with strong proofreading ability and attention to detail. Able to manage ambiguity and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and resourcefulness. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of management.
