We’re seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to support our client—a dynamic manufacturing organization committed to innovation, quality, and operational excellence. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the weekly payroll cycle, ensuring timely processing and full compliance with federal, state, and company-specific regulations. You’ll play a key role in developing payroll procedures, analyzing payroll data, and delivering strategic insights to drive continuous improvement. This position also serves as the primary liaison for all payroll-related matters, ensuring prompt and accurate issue resolution.
Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour DOE.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing while ensuring adherence to federal/state regulations and internal policies.
- Analyze payroll trends, validate records, and generate reports that highlight key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Partner with HR and Accounting to enhance payroll procedures and implement strategic process improvements.
- Administer complex deductions (garnishments, 401(k), benefits) and support annual filings including W-2s, 1095-Cs, and Form 5500.
- Serve as the go-to resource for payroll inquiries, staying informed on evolving tax laws and compliance standards.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience (ideally with ADP or Paycom); High School Diploma required, Associate’s degree and CPP preferred.
- Deep understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, employment law, and HR functions; advanced Excel skills and proficiency with HRIS tools.
- Strong analytical capabilities, data reporting proficiency, and sound judgment in handling sensitive payroll operations.
- Exceptional written/verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and proven ability to develop payroll policies and procedures.
