Accounting Manager

Salary Description: $105,000-$115,000/year. DOE

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead cost and financial performance analysis by establishing standard costs, tracking variances, and partnering on budgeting and planning activities.
• Enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency through process improvements, policy enforcement, and the development of automated accounting solutions.
• Maintain financial integrity by reconciling transactions, safeguarding confidential information, and ensuring reliable data management.
• Support continuous learning and collaboration by staying current on industry practices and contributing to cross-functional team efforts.
• Bring strong technical expertise and adaptability, with proficiency in accounting principles, QuickBooks/Yardi, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business analytics, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
• Technical & Analytical Strength: Deep knowledge of business finance and analytics, with expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Organizational Agility: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently, backed by strong problem-solving and project management skills.
