We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Legal Secretary to support our clients Litigation and Labor & Employment Practices in their Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and demonstrates professionalism, adaptability, and a commitment to client service.
Salary : $36.00 to $44.00 per hour DOE.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Legal & Administrative Support: Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, travel logistics, and case preparation, ensuring timely and accurate execution of high-priority legal tasks.

Document Preparation & Filing: Draft, format, and file legal documents for court proceedings, discovery, arbitration, and mediation, maintaining compliance with state and federal requirements.

Communication & Client Relations: Handle calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with professionalism; uphold confidentiality and support positive client interactions.

Information & File Management: Maintain and organize legal files, monitor conflict checks, input billing entries, and oversee mail processing and document distribution.

Coordination & Logistics: Schedule external support such as couriers, court reporters, and expert witnesses; assist with visual trial materials and prepare expense reports.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Extensive Legal Support Experience: 7–10 years as a legal secretary with deep expertise in litigation, trial procedures, and arbitration/mediation filings (including AAA and JAMS).

Court & Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Federal and State court filing procedures, including e-filing; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with 50+ WPM typing speed.

Document & Communication Skills: Demonstrated strength in drafting, proofreading, and professional communication; consistently accurate with exceptional attention to detail.

Project & Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities under pressure while maintaining a high standard of quality and client service.

Reliability & Independence: Known for dependable attendance, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work autonomously with sound judgment and initiative.
