Accountant

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Accountant to join our Sacramento-based client’s dynamic finance team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part by ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and supporting the smooth execution of core accounting functions. You’ll be responsible for full-cycle accounting—including balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting—while providing internal stakeholders with clear, timely, and professional support.

Salary: $80K to $90K (DOE). This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days onsite in Sacramento, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations across multiple business units
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Prepare, review, and interpret financial reports to support decision-making
• Lead close processes and maintain compliance with accounting standards and policies
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance workflows, resolve issues, and support audits

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting across complex environments
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems, with a strong grasp of reconciliations and data analysis
