We’re searching for a HR & People Operations Specialist to join our client’s executive administrative team. This key role functions in close coordination with the department director and recruiters to support and enhance the entire employee experience. You will act as an internal advisor on HR and People Operations best practices and manage a broad range of compliance and organizational responsibilities across the employee lifecycle.
This is a temp-to-hire, onsite-only role based in Renton, WA. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commute.
What You’ll be Doing…
· Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding.
· Develop and enforce HR policies; ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational standards
· Maintain accurate employee records and manage HRIS data; coordinate annual file audits.
· Administer benefits, compensation programs, and assist with open enrollment.
· Support performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
· Assist with employee engagement initiatives, events, training sessions, and culture-building activities.
· Track, analyze, and report HR metrics; recommend improvements to HR processes.
· Deliver occasional internal training and support process improvement efforts.
Here’s what your work history needs to show as evidence that you’re the right candidate…
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 3–5 years of verifiable HR generalist or specialist experience where you have worked with HRIS/Payroll systems.
· Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations and manage sensitive information with complete confidentiality.
· Demonstrated extensive knowledge of employment laws and compliance practices.
· Preferred but not mandatory: SHRM or HRCI HR Certification, experience supporting paper-to-digital HR record transitions, Paychex HRIS experience.

· Salary: $73,994 – $86,817 annually
· Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire
· Compliance: You must be able to pass a criminal background check, and have a valid Washington State Driver’s License and reliable, insured vehicle.
