CDL Class A Driver

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join their logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving capacities and tractor-trailer operations. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight to designated locations while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest safety standards. (Some OTR for at least 3 weeks at a time).

$1,000 Sign-on bonus! (paid in 4 installments over 1st year)

Clean DOT inspection bonus!

$1000 for Level 1

$600 for Level 2

$300 for Level 3

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles including flatbed trucks, tankers, and tractor-trailers to transport goods efficiently.
• Plan and follow optimal routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to truck driving.

Requirements

• 2 years of verifiable experience in the last 3 years
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A)
• No major accidents or violations in the past 3 (where you were at fault)
• No DUI or reckless driving in the past 5 years
• Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driving; familiarity with route driving is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the trucking industry.

• Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
