ADMINISTRATIVE LAB ASSISTANT

LOCATION: Vancouver, WA

SALARY: $22.00-25.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 9:00 am – 6:00 pm | Major Holidays Off

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Support

  • Assist with shipping and receiving samples.
  • Organize laboratory and office spaces.
  • Provide customer service support by answering phones, assisting clients, and directing inquiries.
  • Enter data into systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Process invoices and assist with bookkeeping duties in QuickBooks.
  • Support reporting by preparing charts, tables, and summaries as needed.

Laboratory Support (Entry-Level)

  • Prepare and label samples for testing (pipetting, weighing, dilution).
  • Perform accurate data entry of laboratory results and quality checks.
  • Assist with daily lab tasks to maintain smooth operations under supervision.
  • Learn to use lab-related software and equipment (training provided).
  • Support team members in maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in science or related field a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Sheets; QuickBooks experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
  • Adaptable and team-oriented mindset.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift 5 lbs. frequently and 25 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to learn and follow safe laboratory practices.
