Customer Care Specialist

SALARY: $19.50 per hour

SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, Various shifts / Temp to Hire

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Customer Care Specialist. This person will serve as the initial point of contact for members over the phone and through email and manage the flow of identity theft victim inquiries. This includes communications regarding billing, account updates, and overall questions or concerns.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle member issues via email and via phone. 
• Handle member billing and account updates and changes. 
• Answer member questions or concerns. 
• Update payment and coverage information for members. 
• Enter data into multiple computer applications. 
• Assist with all Customer Care Specialist tasks and projects. 
• Perform various office and administrative tasks as assigned. 
• Entrusted with sensitive member and client information. 
• Able to work varied shifts as well as overtime in occasional times of company need. 

SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES

• Ability to handle heavy call volumes.
• Ability to concentrate and work proficiently with constant interruptions.
• Must be proactive and exhibit follow through.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to type 20-30 words per minute.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written. 
• Independent work ethic and ability to multi-task and interact effectively with others.
• Able to work under pressure while dealing with sensitive and confidential issues. 
• Ability to communicate clearly with members. 
• Positive attitude in difficult situations.
