LOCATION: SW Portland, OR – Free Parking! 

SALARY: $65k+/yr. DOE

SCHEDULE: Full-time, temp-to-hire


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Prepare Legal Documents – Draft pleadings, motions, and client correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support Case Management – Assist attorneys with complex Family Law matters, including legal research and information gathering.
  • Track Billable Time – Accurately record and manage billable hours in accordance with firm and client requirements.
  • Providing administrative support, including customer support and communication via email and and phone.


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

  • Family Law Experience – 2–3 years as a Paralegal or hybrid Paralegal/Legal Assistant in Domestic Relations with billable hour responsibilities.
  • Document & Case Management – Skilled in drafting legal documents, using templates, organizing discovery, and managing calendars and dockets.
  • Tech Proficiency – Comfortable working with cloud-based systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel to support efficient case handling.
  • Strong Communication & Organization – Excellent verbal and written communication paired with outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-Starter Mindset – Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced legal environment.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
 
This position is based in a professional office setting and requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer. Occasional light lifting (up to 15 lbs.) and mobility within the office to access files, office equipment, and to meet with team members is also required.
