Sales Representative

 

Our client is looking for a driven Sales Representative to join an energetic team and fuel growth by promoting products, building strong client relationships, and managing accounts within an assigned territory. Success in this role requires proactive customer engagement, strong negotiation skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

LOCATION: Portland, OR

SALARY: $65k-200k/yr. DOE

SCHEDULE: Full-time; Monday-Friday

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Drive New Business – Conduct outreach through cold calling, networking, and in-person visits to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.

  • Deliver Engaging Presentations – Showcase product features and benefits through tailored demonstrations that address client needs.

  • Manage & Grow Accounts – Build strong relationships with existing clients while actively expanding your customer base within the territory.

  • Close Deals & Exceed Targets – Negotiate contracts, close sales, and consistently meet or exceed performance goals.

  • Stay Sharp & Organized – Keep CRM records up to date, stay current on industry trends and competitor activity, and collaborate with the sales team on strategies for growth.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

  • Sales Experience – Proven track record in outside sales or territory management, with strong prospecting and cold-calling abilities.

  • Customer-Focused – Skilled at building and maintaining long-term client relationships through exceptional service and communication.

  • Presentation & Persuasion – Confident in delivering product demonstrations and clearly communicating value propositions.

  • Strong Closer – Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing deals while consistently meeting sales targets.

  • Organized & Self-Motivated – Able to manage multiple accounts with attention to detail, working independently and efficiently.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
 
This role is primarily based in an office setting with occasional travel for client meetings and presentations. Candidates should be comfortable using a computer for extended periods and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
