LOCATION: Portland, OR

SALARY: $90k-105k/yr. DOE

SCHEDULE: Full-Time – Hybrid after training period 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Prepare financial reports and reconciliations to support firmwide decision-making.
• Manage billing, collections, trust accounts, and vendor payments.
• Oversee payroll processing and associated tax filings.
• Support annual audits, financial reporting, and benefit administration.
• Identify process improvements and provide backup support to the accounting team.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5–8 years of experience (law firm experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, ABA guidelines, payroll/tax rules, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software; strong reconciliation skills.
• Ability to analyze data, manage deadlines, and communicate financial insights.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and with a team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• This office position involves walking and seated work at a desk, including typing, reaching, bending, and regular use of a computer
