LOCATION: Hybrid 90% Salem, OR | Hybrid Remote - 4 days a week
SALARY: $30-35/hr. DOE
SCHEDULE: Full-time preferred, 5 days/week; 8am-5pm, 1hr lunch at 12 – Majority of work will be off-site/virtual
*1-2 weeks on-site training
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and compile trial records and exhibits for timely and accurate appellate court submission.
- Identify, organize, and label trial exhibits to support case presentation and courtroom readiness.
- Convert a variety of documents, including Excel spreadsheets, into court-compliant PDF formats.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and verifying document transmittals to ensure compliance with court requirements.
- Utilize standard legal software and proprietary systems to access, manage, and track case records.
- Maintain detailed records and support attorneys in all phases of trial and appellate preparation.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of paralegal experience, with a solid understanding of legal procedures and documentation.
- Proven track record supporting trial preparation and managing appellate court filings; Litigation court experience will be considered.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail in preparing legal documents and exhibits.
- An ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced legal setting.
- Proficient in formatting, reviewing, and assembling court-ready documents with a high degree of accuracy.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The role requires the ability to sit for extended periods, utilize office equipment (such as computers and printers), and handle physical files and documents in an office setting.
On-site presence as needed to manage physical documents.
