LOCATION: Portland, OR
SALARY: $24-26/hr. DOE
SCHEDULE: Full-Time, 37.5hr work-week
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedule and coordinate meetings with clients, creditors, and outside counsel for probate attorneys and paralegals.

Sort, scan, and save incoming mail to client files, forwarding relevant documents to probate paralegals.

Process signed documents and record real property deeds.

Maintain docket calendar, create reminders for administration deadlines, and track active cases.

Draft initial probate pleadings and assist with estate probate accounting, including receipts and disbursement exhibits.

Support various estate administration tasks, including form updates, scanning, project assistance, mailings, and tax filings.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sitting, standing, and walking: Ability to sit for extended periods, move between desks or meeting areas, and carry documents or files (up to 10-15 pounds).

Repetitive movements and manual dexterity: Sorting, scanning, drafting pleadings, processing documents, and handling physical files.

Visual acuity and attention to detail: Ability to read and review documents on screens or paper, ensuring accuracy in probate pleadings, receipts, and exhibits.

Clear communication: Verbal communication for coordinating meetings and interacting with clients, creditors, and other parties.
